Y’all I have found the BEST skincare for acne prone skin. Acne isn’t cool. It’s painful and can take a toll on your self-esteem.
I’ve struggled with acne off and on since my sophomore year of college. Prior to that, I’d get an occasional blemish, but nothing too bad. I’ve been to several dermatologists, tried every cream and lotion under the sun, but never found anything that worked.
Before I moved last year, I was getting facials every 2 weeks and they really helped keep my skin clear. I was fortunate enough to have some really bomb insurance and they were covered so all I had to pay was the co-pay. I moved and changed jobs, the consistent treatments went away, and the acne came back.
I went to a new dermatologist, got new prescription, and bought new skincare. It all seemed to be working until about a month ago when my face just freaked out and broke out like crazy.
Enter Dr. Pimple Popper.
I first heard of Dr. Sandra Lee aka Dr. Pimple Popper on Buzzfeed. She went viral for her YouTube videos of her popping pimples and other medical things that make my stomach turn. I would check her Instagram from time to time and I saw she had skincare coming out. I couldn’t order fast enough!
I decided to give it a try even though every other 3 step kit I have tried didn’t work. I ordered the 30 day kit for $45. I started using it April 25, morning and night.
The 30 Day Kit includes
–Cleanser, 2.0 fl oz
–AM Acne Lotion, 0.7 fl oz
–PM Clarifying Treatment, 0.7 fl oz
–Moisturizer, 1.0 fl oz
–AM Acne Lotion
*I removed my makeup with my cleansing oil first and used an exfoliator a few times a week in addition to these products.
I have finally found some products that work. They keep my skin clear and they don’t dry my face out. I ordered the 60 day kit before I was done with the 30 day kit because I didn’t want to run out and have to wait on shipping.
The 60 Day Kit is $80 and inlcudes
–Cleanser, 4.2 fl oz
–Clarifying Treatment, 1.7 fl oz
–Acne Lotion, 1.7 fl oz
–Facial Moisturizer, 2.0 fl oz
*this are all full size products
All of the products can be purchased individually as well.
—Cleanser, $18 for 4.2 fl oz
—Clarifying Treatment, $30 for 1.7 fl oz
—Moisturizer with SPF 15, $25 for 2.0 fl oz
—Moisturizer, $25 for 2.0 fl oz
—Spot Treatment, $20 for 0.5 fl oz

These pictures speak for themselves. THIS STUFF WORKS, Y’ALL. I know I sound like the OxiClean guy (RIP), but I’m just super excited to finally have found something that works. I currently have some dark spots and slight scarring, but no active breakouts.
This post isn’t sponsored, I paid for these products myself.
