Beauty 411: Lip Oils

August 7, 2017

What are they?
–Lightweight, non-sticky lip tints that hydrate your lips with a luminous finish

Who makes them?
NYX #ThisIsEverything Lip Oil, $6, 1 shade
YSL Volupte Tint In Oil, $32, 7 shades
Burts Bees Tinted Lip Oil, $8.99, 6 shades
Lancome Juicy Shakers, $22, 7 shades (matte option as well)
Too Faced Sweet Peach Lip Oil, $19, 8 shades
Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Oil Tint, $5.99, 6 shades
elf Tinted Lip Oil, $6, 5 shades
NYX Slip Tease Full Color Lip Oil, $7, 12 shades
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil, $26, 3 shades
Milk Makeup Oil Lip Stain, $18, 3 shades

Why?
–You get the shine of a gloss without the stickiness.

My Two Cents
–I love these! I’ve been a huge lip gloss fan because I can’t stand the stickiness. Y’all know I love my matte lips, but I’ve been opting for a more shiny finish these days. They work great alone on light makeup days or over a liquid lipstick when it starts to get to dry.

I actually haven’t tried any lip oils! I’ve heard great things though, I’ll have to try them out!

I would love to buy a few lip oils to hydrate my lips when I don’t wear makeup. I can’t wait to try the slip tease from nyx, the swatches look amazing!

That’s my favorite way to wear them. I picked up one of the Slip Teases from Ulta on Friday. I can’t wait to wear it.
