Beauty Friday Five

Friday 5: Best Acne Spot Treatments

September 15, 2017

1. Toothpaste
–An oldie but a goodie that helps reduce redness

2. Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots
–I got the smaller pack to try them out and I was surprised by how well they worked. I was sure it was a gimmick. Clearasil has a similar product that is a fraction of the price. I’m going to give those a go, but the PTR ones are great.

3. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
–Game changer. You need it.

4. GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
–I know this is super expensive, but it is worth every cent. I don’t use it on my entire face, just as a spot treatment. I don’t ever want to be without this stuff.

5. Tea Tree Oil
–I got this bottle at TJ Maxx, but you can find tea tree oil anywhere. I linked to one from The Body Shop that I used to use and it works just as well.

Honorable Mention: Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel

To Try: SLMD Acne Spot Treatment (this is the skincare line I use, but I don’t have this product…yet)

Loooove my Mario — his products really are game changers. I need to hop on this Glam Glow train because I hear nothing but fab things about their masks.

They definitely are! I’ve only tried the clearing and hydrating masks. The clearing is a must, the hydrating doesn’t do much for me.

I love using tea tree oil as a spot treatment! I also use the toothpaste trick!

Tea tree doesn’t work as well for my larger blemishes, but it works great on smaller visitors haha
